Like for Jesus ignore for satan?

Who in the world came up with that? Do people really think they will go to hell if they don't like it? Why don't these same people go to church?

Gay marriage by Philliphe

NOW ON TO GAY MARRIAGE: First of all, let me begin my saying, I DO believe everyone should have a right to get married! I think marriage is an amazing thing, and it forms an even more special bond between two people; however, some of us are going about this the wrong way.

I think it's a good thing that homosexuals have to jump hoops, travel to another state, and do leaps and bounds to get marrie...d, why you ask? Because it gives US (homosexuals) a chance to prove people wrong. If you look at any relationship today homosexual or heterosexual, they fall apart really quickly! If every state allowed gay same sex marriage, the divorce rate would go even more completely insane.

We have a chance to prove ourselves to people and the world. We have a chance to show them that the only difference between heterosexual and homosexual marriage is the obvious (same sex and opposite sex).

People put so many boundaries on what that are looking for in a marriage; so they have basically created a fantasy relationship that will never exist. Don't get me wrong, everyone needs to set boundaries, but the boundaries that are being set are ridiculous! Every relationship is going to have its up and its downs no matter what stipulation you put on your potential partner.

If we want the rights that others have then we need to start playing the part. I went to a gay pride (which I DO NOT DO often), and I was appalled; people walking around half naked, people walking around in dog collars being led but someone else in chaps! THAT STUFF IS FOR THE BEDROOM. Do you see straight people marching around like that? NO! PRIDE should be about helping those people who are in unaccepting homes etc. Which leads me to the next topic,

STOP BEING JUDGMENTAL! The gay community is very small, no matter what area you are in, or the resources that are offered, we as homosexuals should be getting along and form a bond together which can really help people. I am a label hoe yes, but I don't use that as a basis as to whom I befriend! WE SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF OURSELVES and the way we conduct ourselves not only to the world, but to OUR community!

And finally, I have a lot of pride in who I am and the fact that I can openly admit that I am gay; however, I do not involve myself into the whole "gay scene", and I have had many people tell me I need to be supportive and show my pride, and this is the response you will get....

I came out of the closet when I was young, there was no LGBT or anything place I could run to for help. I was raised in a small unaccepting town by Pentecostal pastors that insisted I would never amount to anything. I faced ridicule and bullying. I was pulled out of the public school system because my then adopted parents thought of me as an embarrassment (even though the told people otherwise).

It is people like me who have actually had to suffer and survive all this ridicule as to why married men with kids can now come out of the closet (guys who back in the day were making fun of ME for being gay). So people like me, who don't get into the "gay scene", is usually because we have shown our support, and we still do; however, we don't need to act ignorant in the middle of the street to do so!

We have gotten far in the world accepting us and we can get even further if we TOGETHER try to make it a better place!

I wish the best of luck to those who have been fortunate to find someone to spend their life with, and I hope it lasts a long time- and if you can't legal get married where you are and don't want to travel to do so, have a small commitment ceremony with those close to you.. that's what it's all about anyways, announcing you love and dedication to the person you love in front of family and friends.

In closing, I do and will always recommend (gay or straight), to receive couples counseling before "tying the knot". So if and when marriage becomes legal in your state, don't jump the gun and run to a courthouse- MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY!

Thanks for listening,

Back to work

I'm back to work after the snow day. And I feel so tired like I've been on my feet non stop. I guess it's true one day in bed equals three days strength.
